Transport and Globalisation

Within the context of globalisation of markets a constant increase of transport and cargo flow results even today in bottle-necks of the existing transport systems. Selective solutions for optimization of transport chains as well as improvements in existing network structures will be discussed. As a result new methods arise from logistic system planning.

International Transport Chains

The world-wide increase of container traffic confronts major ports more and more with problems. Space is a low resource, and cargo transfer alone became of expensive economic value. As a result inland navigation and inland container terminals open up new changes for growth. Efficient hinter-land systems with develop into decisive strategical factors of competitiveners, as the main share cross-country seaside arriving containers will be distributed.

Innovations Management

In production processes mutually developed logistic chains result in Integrated holistic approaches between producer, suppliers, service providers and customers. New concepts of production and manufacturing will be logistic oriented organized consequently. Against this background, planning of production and logistics distribution are metting together. Short product cycles need flexible logistic structures and short planning intervals. Methods of process planning have to be supported by respective planning tools.

Environmental Impact Accessments

The subject of environmental protection occupies an most important place in our society. About it great significance must be attached to the field of traffic as fundamental cause. In our studies and alternative concepts we work out traffic links for environmental digestible handling of goods traffic. Besides the environment digestibility of different transport chains will be examined.
Notes for companies within the transport chains:
Ecology and economics are not looking mutually exclusive differences. Economies in potentials can be realized for reasons to do with the state of Single companies by resource protected organization of transport chains.

Supra Structures

Lag behind these headlines demands and themes takes a view of traffic policy, traffic route planning, traffic systems, and logistics. The question arises : Why traffic and logistic?
At the first glance traffic planning and logistic have not so much in common. The economic sector makes use of modern technologies and it is most efficient for importance of its own.
The public planning of infrastructure attacks all problems only half-hearted and with ancient methods. Not any institution feels responsible for it. We co-ordinate and arrange foundation knowledge.
